Dominoes are a very old game and Jaques made a variety of sets in different woods, ivory and boxed sets, even a miniature set. Each domino is a rectangular tile, usually with a line dividing its face into two square ends. Each end is marked with a number of spots up to the number 6 or is blank. The backs of the tiles in a set are indistinguishable, either blank or having a common design. The game has a long history and has evolved over time.
