Light Refreshment was an amusing card game published by Jaques around 1905. Cards depict slices of bread, a knife card and the fillings of sandwiches – eggs, ham, cucumber etc. To make a sandwich players must have the correct number of ingredients and the knife card in their hand. This pack is in its original box and has a copy of the rules but it is not known whether its 43 cards make a it a complete set.
