Varique is a unique and tricky game that requires careful examination of the rules in order to play. There are four suits distinguished by colour and ten cards of each suit. Each player has a little box and small pieces to insert into the cards or to collect. It says that the aim of the game is to fill your cards with the pips as speedily as possible but then goes on to highlight that there are rules which number more than 12 and pages of hints on how to play, which suggests it is highly complex. Much argument must have ensued! This pack of 40 cards are in the original box along with the rules booklet and four little round boxes of different coloured counters.
